Here is our Gotcha Day photo from July 3rd, 2006. This was taken moments after Mia-Faith was placed in my arms. She was 21 months old, weighed only 16 lbs, had poor muscle control, icky skin and was sporting a buzz cut. She was absolutely scared to death.
I was thrilled to have her in my arms and thought she was absolutely perfect !!
Mia-Faith was wearing clothes way too small for her. She had on snoopy pants, a Pokemon shirt, new heart socks and sandals that were pretty snug and dirty.
This is Mia-Faith today. She weighs 21 lbs. She is still a very slender gal. She is well adjusted, melts our hears and is the center of our world. She has gained strength and balance. I saved the Gotcha Day clothes but she has never worn them again. I ditched the shoes in China. They were in awful shape. Mia wore them 24 hours a day for the first few days but after I got her to try on new Roobez-the old shoes were forgotten.

I love seeing all these gotcha day pictures. My spicy girl was wearing yellow footie pajamas that smelled like spit up.
Goes to show what a little(but I think in your case....alot) of love can do.
What you sow.... you truely shall reap! She is such a beauty!
Mia has come so far in such a short time. It is unimaginable to me to think how much the girls have had to adjust to our lifestyles here. Love can and does conquer all! Hugs to you as you remember God's love for your family.
It never ceases to amaze me how these sweet babies blossom with the unconditional love of a forever family. She is absolutely beautiful!

What a great picture of Mia-Faith! little jasmine was wearing clothes too small too at Gotcha, so I think I might pass at this FFFF. Fun to see all the pics though!
Has it really almost been a year? And how come your year seems to be going by much quicker than mine???;o) Love the pics-thanks for sharing.
