Finally in Wuhan !

We have arrived ! After 3 flights we have finally arrived in Wuhan. Madeline did a great job. When we arrived in Beijing we were joking with one another about how we felt like were are on The Amazing Race. We were winging it ,trying to figure out what we needed to do and where we needed to go. With that mind set I went and asked if there was an earlier flight to Wuhan (we were suppose to have a 3+ hour layover....) and when they checked there was ! We had to literally hustle to the gate. We made it with minutes to spare.... the flight was packed. We were the only Americans. There was a gentleman sitting next to us that kept offering his jacket to Madeline. The people here in China are very fascinated by her. It is in the mid 40's here which feels great coming from Wisconsin. Our taxi ride to the hotel was very scary - there are no rules of the road here. Wuhan is also very populated, seems very modern, I can not wait to venture out in the morning. It is 10:30 PM. I am off to get some rest. We will post more tomorrow.

Wonderful, you made it safely. I know what you mean about the traffic. You will get used to it, they drive like that everywhere in China. Like a game of frogger when you cross the street. So, did the airports have signs in English or did you just have to figure it all out?

Hopefully you won't run into a "roadblock" or a "detour" on your Amazing Race to pick-up Eli.
