We spent the morning a a local museum and then visited a tea shop. We have returned to the room for Mia's nap and then we are going shopping again. Mia smiled at the son of one of the other families. She is a lot less afraid of other people talking to her. Once again she is comforted when she is holding a cookie. I have gotten her to hold her banana and pick up cheerios. Right now she is talking again in her crib. It is music to my ears. I am also waiting for mac and cheese to be delivered from Danny's Bagels.
This Blog is the chronicle of our family's journey through the process of adopting Mia-Faith XinHe and Elijah Russell AiSheng, and any other Waala family news.
We brought our Mia home July, 2006 from Fuzhou, China. She was 21 months old at Gotcha day. Eli joined our family at 6 years old in March 2009 from Wuhan, China. We are now complete- Our family has been blessed beyond measure !!
