Thanksgiving to forget....

What a crazy few days. Our entire family was really looking forward to the thanksgiving holiday. Hayden got off the bus Wednesday shouting "Yoo-hoo...it's Thanksgiving vacation!" Then at midnight he appeared at our bed saying he had puked. Oh...No... Dave and I took shifts dividing our time with what we thought were the healthy kids between my parents and my SIL and BIL's house. Then after breakfast Keaton said he didn't feel well. So I stayed home with Keaton, Hayden and Mia.
It turns out that Keaton who has had a cough (and has been on Amoxicillin since Monday) has bilateral pneumonia !! He never improved on the Amoxicillin and had a fever again last night so a chest x-ray today revealed the pneumonia. EEKK....He got two shots of Rocephin, Biaxin for 10 days and some tylenol with codiene.
We are now 5 for 5 with every kid having some kind of virus, fever, runny nose or GI issue.
I have disinfected the house, bought new toothbrushes and told the kids as cute as it has been teaching Mia to give kisses-lets hold off on the smooching.
Please say a little prayer for Keaton !!

Ahhh...man do I know what you are going through!!

I hate it when all 4 of mine get it all at the same time! You never know which way is up!

I'll send prayers up for ALL your family tonight!

Sorry to hear you all are ill. That is no fun for Thanksgiving! I know how it goes though, the more kids, the more chances of passing things round and round! Prayerfully everyone will be healthy for Mia's first Christmas Home!!

Oh, Shelly, I'm so sorry that sickness messed up your family's Thanksgiving Day. Yucko! I'll be praying especially for your son who has pneumonia.
Thanks for doing such a great journal. I really like keeping up with Mia, you, and the rest of your beautiful family!
